DATA PROCESSING BY THIRD PARTIES
In the normal operation of this website, FixSpec does not sell or pass any data relating to users to any third party.
The sole exception to this is where the users is requesting access to a restricted document on our website. In order to facilitate this request, FixSpec will pass minimal personal data to the document author, such as name and email, in order to inform their decision as to whether to grant access. The author may then accept or decline this request back to FixSpec who carry out the instruction.
Where access has been granted in this way, documentation authors may – on an on-going basis – view summary information relating to users accessing their documentation via the website, including when a user last accessed documentation, and which document was viewed.
As part of our service of keeping users informed of updates to API documentation they have expressed an interest in, users may subscribe to automated email notifcations when a document is updated.
Such email notifications can be enabled and disabled by users using the toggles provided in their dashboard and in their user settings.
FixSpec may also contact users via email to notify them of change to the website or new products. Such emails will be infrequent and limited in nature. Receipt of such notifications can be controlled via your user settings.
FixSpec does not currently operate a regular newsletter or other such communication. Should we start such a newsletter in the future, then users will be asked to explicitly subscribe to receive updates.
REQUESTS TO DELETE PERSONAL DATA
FixSpec will act upon requests to remove personal data where we have determined that the request is genuine and from the person to which that data relates. Note that removal of data will prevent further access to the password-protected areas of the website.
Please email email@example.com to request such removal.
